That Ninja Lunge Punch…

Question: Why use a lunge punch when training when nobody punches like that and it is easier to defend against? I have trained in Ninjutsu before and just don’t understand, it just doesn’t seem realistic. Is there a purpose I’m just not understanding?

Nice Ukemi Skills

This gent shows good ukemi flow. For those interested he does: Sokuho Kaiten (side roll), Zenpo Kaiten (forward roll), Koho Kaiten (backwards roll), Oten (cartwheel), Zenpo tenkai (forward handspring), and kuten (dive roll). NICE job!
