The martial arts have been a part of my life for over 30 years and during that time, I have had opportunities to train with some amazing teachers and seminar instructors. These days, I not only take in the lesson but the feeling in which the lesson is imparted. I think that these three elements (teacher, lesson and feeling) come together to create a positive environment for learning our martial art.

[flv:/joeflash/jan29_2009.flv 320 240]

In our dojo, we train together to grow in the budo taijutsu (ninjutsu) and in the way we live. To that end, I find that a positive environment of mutual respect, commitment and humor blend well to keep us on the right path.
