And by no coincidence, Hatsumi-sensei announced our annual theme is “ninpo.” Recently, I heard this elaborated to “ninpo no ku nari” which basically translates to “the ninpo way of disappearing.” But, the “ku” character can also imply becoming nothing… We have an interesting training year ahead!
