We, Andrew and I, took a car ride into New York City. I think that Andrew had a nice time looking at some of the sites (Rockerfeller Center, Empire State Building, Saint Patricks, etc). As a special treat we bought some soft ice cream, which was refreshing on the hot, hot day.
