Yesterday, I watched two movie trailers that really got me smiling. One was for the movie the Watchmen. If you haven’t read the Graphic Novel (in my book GN means mature comic book) then well, you are absolutely missing one fine piece of “cool.” Alan Moore helped change the way I read comics. He made me read, look at the panel and then read the darn thing a second time. And then a third. Not for fun, mind you – it was so I could figure out what the heck was going on. REALLY GOING on, not the surface crap that we all normally notice, but the stuff that you don’t normally pick up (like in life). Which of course is a perfect reason to “pick up” the darn book, read it and repeat as necessary.

Now you are probably thinking, “Joe won’t think any less of me if I pass on this one.” If so… You’re wrong, I do. I’m actually shaking my head right now thinking, I thought you were OK. But I was sadly mistaken. Amazon’s got it for under $12.

Ok. The second trailer gave me a laugh just when I I really needed it. I’d been dealing with customer reps for business cable and phone issues. Hours on the phone and nothing really got resolved. Nothing. I’m not the type of person who can go for 8 hours straight without accomplishing something. So, this link came to me at just the right time. It might have saved my life (from heart attack or boredom)…
